Steve started out on guitar at the age of 15 years learning his favorite rock songs by ear. He enrolled in GIT (musicians institute) in Hollywood and squandered that opportunity in quick fashion. He lost interest in going to classes and learning about scales and theory and began checking out all the Sunset Strip clubs that he grew up reading about

After a couple of years in California, Steve moved back to Texas and has been playing professionally ever since. He plays Rock, Metal, Rap Metal, Classic Rock, Comedy Rock, Texas Country, Traditional Country, Acoustic Duo.

Steve’s super happy to be playing in Think Lizzy, playing some of the greatest rock ever made. “Not much makes me happier than jamming Thin Lizzy tunes through Les Pauls and Marshalls! RAWK!!!!!”

Some of Steve’s influences: Thin Lizzy (of course), ZZ Top, Sabbath, Van Halen, Ozzy, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Walsh.
